deadlines

we’re working with a deadline of december 17th for at least the first build/version/whatever of this game, so we plan on it being playable by then.  a few things you might be interested to know at this point about UoD:

- you have to be in pullman to play (sorry), as the game is based around particular geographical features.

- many game objectives (though not all) require a GPS device.

- you’ll be able to play as three different characters, whose stories all intersect as they try to catch a murderer before he strikes again.  the different storylines will revisit the story not only through the eyes of different characters, but also in different times: both during the initial hunt for the killer and his return, years later.

- playing as each character will provide you with different choices for navigating the game environment: explore a harder-to-reach area or play it safe?  puzzle clues together or follow exact GPS coordinates?

- unlockable content for thorough (and thoroughly clever) players.

- optional audio (and potentially audio-visual) media content available through this blog to enhance your playing experience, whether outside of the game or while playing (via iPhone or similar).

we also want to use this blog to allow players to post their own content (photos, responses, etc.) regarding their experience playing UoD.
